First Posting (and man do I hate to have anything in solid print)
Hi, I'm Jilly and my friend Jean sent me the link to see the "This Land" and it was soooooo great I had to join and comment! Altho instead of letting me leave a comment, it sent me to my blog, so hey, I'll comment here! And try to comment there again!
Interesting interpretation of the two battling candidates. Unfortunately, your pictures of them certainly show their failings, and their mud-slinging, much more than and decisive victory -- tho I kinda lean towards what the Anonymous person said...t 5:51 PM -- that perhaps Bush will actually LIKE the way he's represented, whereas Kerry (and just about anyone else know) would HATE to be represented by EITHER portrayal, but the Kerry presentation is definitely blatently unlikeable (no one likes a braggart -- altho that's what Bush does too (both in your 'toon and in real life for that matter . . .).
Well, I'll be interested to see what comes of this both my post and the 'toon itself -- hope it doesn't get pulled due to pressure -- parody is an important part of politics!
